DMCA / Copyright Policy
Last updated: April 15, 2026
1. Our Position
MAX IPTV respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with applicable copyright laws, including the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), the EU Copyright Directive (2019/790), and Swedish copyright law (Lag 1960:729 om upphovsrätt till litterära och konstnärliga verk).
Important: MAX IPTV is a media player application. We do not host, store, transmit, distribute, or control any streaming content. All content accessed through the application is provided by third-party IPTV services chosen and configured by the user. We do not have direct control over the content of those streams, but we provide this takedown channel to assist rights holders in good faith.
2. Submitting a Takedown Notice
If you are a copyright owner (or authorized to act on behalf of one) and believe that content accessible through a third-party playlist used in our application infringes your copyright, please email a takedown notice to:
info@maxiptv.app
Subject line: "DMCA Notice"
Your notice must include all of the following:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or, if multiple works, a representative list)
- Identification of the specific infringing material — the URL, stream source, IPTV provider name, or playlist source — with sufficient detail to allow us to locate it
- Your full contact information: legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf
- Your physical or electronic signature
3. Our Response Process
Upon receiving a valid takedown notice, we will:
- Acknowledge receipt within 2 business days
- Review the notice for completeness and validity within 5 business days
- Where the infringing material is provided by a third-party IPTV service, forward the notice to the relevant provider for action
- Where a user account is found to have repeatedly added playlists pointing to infringing material, suspend or terminate that account in accordance with our repeat infringer policy
- Cooperate with lawful authorities and rights holders as appropriate
Please note that because we do not host content directly, we cannot remove streams from third-party IPTV providers. Where you have identified the source provider, we encourage you to contact them directly in addition to notifying us.
4. Counter-Notice
If you are a user whose account or playlist was affected by a takedown notice and you believe the action was the result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to info@maxiptv.app (subject: "DMCA Counter-Notice") including:
- Your full name, address, telephone number, and email
- Identification of the material that was removed or restricted
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or restricted as a result of mistake or misidentification
- Your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of Sweden (Stockholm District Court / Stockholms tingsrätt)
- Your physical or electronic signature
5. Repeat Infringer Policy
We will terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers — generally defined as users who receive multiple substantiated copyright complaints regarding playlists they have added to their account.
6. Misrepresentation
Submitting a false or fraudulent takedown notice may subject you to liability for damages under Section 512(f) of the DMCA and equivalent provisions under EU and Swedish copyright law. Please ensure your notice is accurate and submitted in good faith.
